Nebraska Lottery Player Wins Pick 4

A lottery player in the Cornhusker State has won some money in one of this week’s Pick 4 draws — showing how a small amount can add a bit of fun and hope to your bank account, courtesy of Nebraska’s latest draw game.

According to The Nebraska Lottery officials, this (as yet) unclaimed winning ticket is worth $3,125. When you play Pick 4 in Nebraska, the top prize you can win is $6,000, meaning that the lucky lottery player won over half the cash value of the game.

Sold in Lincoln at the Kwik Shop at 44th and ‘O’ Street, the winning ticket matched enough numbers to win a few thousand dollars in a draw that took place Tuesday October 28, unveiling the winning numbers 1, 7, 0, and 6. 

What is Pick 4?

Pick 4 is a brand new game in the Cornhusker State. Announced by the lottery authorities earlier this year, the game, a permanent fixture of many other states’ lotteries in the country, became available in Nebraska as recently as September 21, 2025.

Launched with the intention of broad appeal, it’s easy to see why Pick 4 would entice lottery players — Pick 4 offers modest but solid prizes ranging from $60 to $6,000, many more ways to play than big lotteries like Powerball or Mega Millions, and odds that don’t make you sigh and wonder about the purpose of getting involved.

Pick 4 NE involves matching 4 random numbers from 0 to 9. Unlike other lotteries, the game isn’t as simple as matching a certain quantity of numbers.
